Rescuing a dog is one of the most rewarding and life changing things you can do, for both you and the new addition to your family. Whether your rescue dog is an eight week old Romanian mongrel or an eight year old Great Dane from Battersea, bringing your new friend home is an incredibly exciting (and sometimes stressful!) time. All dogs are different and adapt to family life in different ways. If you feel like you need a bit of extra support, we can help you get started on the right track.

Alternatively the full Clever Dog Life Skills course can be booked to get you up to speed with training your Rescue Dog. This course is suitable for all adult dogs and can be tailored to your individual needs.

I cannot thank Becki enough for everything she has helped us with over the past 9 months, she has gone well beyond what should be expected and supported us with every question and cry for help in a quick, kind and professional manner. Our dog was a severely traumatised beaten and starved, a young highly prey driven basically feral rescue, who had not been on a lead, in a car, seen a toy or had any love and kindness, we had never had a dog before and had absolutely no experience. Having that support was a life saver for myself and with continued training Archie has started to turn a corner, he is now so happy at home, enjoys the scent games and training she has taught us, and we are working on walking and fears outside and slowly getting there, he has come so far and is not the same dog we first got.
